Several weeks ago I met up with Lizzie, Katie and Sarah for a friends shoot! They have known each other since elementary school and went through middle school together. They are not at the same high school now but I love how their friendship is still so close! It made me think back to my friendships in middle school and high school. There were four of us that were super close! Through the years, we have moved away and grown apart in some ways but when we talk or see each other (even though it’s not often enough!) it seems like no time has passed at all. I hope Lizzie, Katie and Sarah enjoy that type of lifelong friendship as well!
Earlier this week (in this post) I introduced a new direction for my business with a focus on teens and seniors. I want each girl I photograph to know how beautiful and special she is in her own way. I want her to embrace that unique beauty and be proud and confident of it! Lizzie, Katie and Sarah were perfect examples of that! We started the shoot with professional hair and makeup with Nicole Mathewson of Crazy Beautiful. Don’t get me wrong here….I don’t want girls to think they have to wear makeup or have perfect hair to be beautiful. Not at all! However, by working with Nicole we were able to subtly enhance each girl’s unique features. I think they had fun having hair and makeup done (seriously who wouldn’t love a little pampering?! :)) and when it came time for the shoot I could see their confidence and personality shining through each and every photograph!
And don’t forget…. To celebrate my business and new direction, I would love to give a high school junior or senior a photo shoot with Paige Pearson Photography!
