“Our place is kind of rustic. We are on the side of the mountain. We have horses, goats and sheep. We sit surrounded by rolling farm land.” As you can imagine, I was extremely excited when I received this description! I couldn’t wait to drive out on a sunny Friday afternoon and meet up with the {S} family on their gorgeous property! Our plans took a little detour when the weather on the mountain turned out to be VERY windy that day but in between breaks inside to warm up I think we got some great shots. When I opened up this one of the family, it made me smile! Even though the little one isn’t looking, I just love the afternoon light coming in between the trees, the way mom is looking at her daughter, and how her son is leaning against her with his arm wrapped around her leg. So sweet.
