“To the outside world, we all grow old. But not to brothers and sisters. We know each other as we always were. We know each other’s hearts. We share private family jokes. We remember family feuds and secrets, family griefs and joys. We live outside the touch of time.”
– Clara Ortega
I am so excited to share today’s post which features siblings from a family I have known personally for awhile. Siblings share a special bond, and it’s a joy to photograph that bond. My daughter is friends with Madison, and they have danced together of several years. So when Angie (their mom) asked me to do Scott’s senior photos, and include Madison in a few, I was honored. We met up at Mary Washington University, where we were met with some wind and cold, but we made it work.
Scott will be heading to George Mason University in the fall, to study in the field of Information Technology. I’ve heard he is handy with computer repair, so keep him in mind if you are in need (I sure will!). Madison, an accomplished young dancer, was beautiful in front of the camera, and surely has a dancer’s poise and maturity. I love both these young people, and know they have bright futures!
