Did you ever watch The Great Food Truck Race on Food Network? My kids are I loved that show. We thought it would be so fun to take a food truck stroll and try all the different foods! I was on facebook yesterday morning and happened to see a post about a local food truck – Beachfries. It just so happened that they would be parked near where I would be at lunch time! How convenient is that?! I couldn’t help but notice some of the interesting menu items – bologna burger, deep fried double stuffed oreos, and fried mac and cheese. I think just once I’ll have to try the deep fried oreos! This time I opted for the crab cake sandwich with homemade remoulade sauce. YUM! The menu mentions there is so much crab meat and so little filler they can hardly keep it together and this was so true! I’ll definitely be back for the crab cake again. (And maybe those fried oreos :))
